Intraoral scanners are much more than a way of taking impressions. They are the key to unlocking digital workflows.
In this presentation Eoin and Angelo will present a complex restorative case from start to finish. They will show how to use digital workflows for both the clinical and laboratory stages. They will show how digital impressions using Exocad software can help communicate between dentist and technicians as well as patients.
The planning procedures, including occlusal analysis, smile design and digital wax ups, will be demonstrated. This will include methods of sharing diagnostic information and mock-ups between the lab and clinic. As well as tools for sharing this information with patients to facilitate gaining consent.
They will describe the use of diagnostic provisionals and techniques to the transfer of occlusal schemes to the definitive restorations. And they will show the manufacturing procedures for making provisional and definitive restorations.
By the end of this webinar delegates will:
- Be aware of the clinical records they can take using intraoral scanning techniques
- Know how Exocad software can plan, design and manufacture restorations
- See how to use digital information as a communication tool between the dental team and patients
- Consider the benefits of using digital workflows over traditional analogue techniques.
